Bringing the elegance of Vintage T-strap shoes to a flat was no easy feat. We wanted to preserve the customary Saint Savoy aesthetic and quality while combining a cushy insole, snappy floor response and robust construction with a genuinely graceful silhouette. The RIVIERA Flat features a brushed leather sole, making it suitable for a wide variety of floors and practical for both indoor and outdoor wear. With its spacious fit and beautifully rounded toe, this elegant model inspired by 1920s shoes offers exceptional comfort without sacrificing its feminine Vintage character.
The Noisette combines a warm mid-brown leather vamp with patterned accents around the T-strap, heel cap and T-closure strap. The back of the shoe is made from an exquisite floral brocade textile, woven in two shades of brown with touches of warm gold and black. The result is rich and unusual without being loud: an elegant combination of texture, pattern and warm earthy tones that is remarkably easy to style. The RIVIERA is also available in different colours with a 3.5 and a 5 centimetre heel: RIVIERA CLASSIC and RIVIERA HIGH.

How to Care for Your Dance Shoes:
The Ten Commandments for Spiffy and Comfy Shoes
Dance shoes undergo an array of very specific stresses. We see the signs of wear on our shoes as a sign of our love for dancing. However, by following a few simple tips for care, we can easily extend the life of our favourite shoes:- Care for your feet! A well-tended foot has short nails and soft skin free of callouses that may cause uncomfortable pressure.
- Should I waterproof my dance shoes?
- Always fully open your shoes before slipping into them, and use a shoehorn to help maintain their form.
- At Saint Savoy, we use high quality leather for the inside, too. If this lining should cause marks, we recommend a dash of hairspray. It really is surprising how well a thin layer sprayed into the interior of your shoe will makes this problem disappear.
- If your dance shoes are dusty or dirty after a long night out, rub them with a soft, moist cloth. Always remember to clean your shoes before applying polish.
- It'’s easy to make sure your Saint Savoy shoes keep on shining: try spit and a soft leather brush, or using an old nylon stocking to polish them. It works great, really!
- Our shoes are made of fine calf leather. It is important to use high-quality shoe polish to maintain the pliability of leather and seams. We recommend using products containing lanolin. We also advise that you use colourless care products – your clothing and your dance partner will thank you!
- Rub leather-covered heels and the shoe’s frame well with polish, too.
- Dirt can be washed off Saint Savoy’s special Sender Sole using a mild soap solution and a soft cloth.
- Put a shoetree or crumpled newspaper in your shoes after wearing them. This will smooth wrinkles from walking, as well as absorb moisture.

I sized up based on reviews and advice, but I didn’t need to as the shoes were much too big. I have a narrow foot, and I would say these shoes are very much true to size. The size 40 measured 26cm on the inside, and 8cm wide (on the inside). I ended up selling them on. Other than that, they are a beautiful, well made shoe with so much squishy support.

These shoes are fantastic!
I have quite wide feet and was a bit afraid that they would be too narrow, but they have enough room for my toes and adapt very well (I ordered my regular size and it fits perfectly). The padded sole is also very comfortable.
Besides the comfort, they look very beautiful! I love the combination of colors and textures in the leather.

I immediately wore these shoes for training two days in a row and did not get a single blister (and I am very prone to get them). My feet are narrow, but the shoes fit fine. The soles are a bit more slippery than I am used to, so I have to make sure I stand on my axis.
They look very lovely and I like the two-tone detail. Makes them more adjustable to the outfit.

I love these shoes! They’re comfortable, have a cushy insole, and enough room for my toes. The leather has a nice shiny/sparkly quality, which will be great to pair for both a fancier or more casual look. Finding a flat shoe that is both beautiful to look at and comfortable is VERY tricky, and I think these shoes have done that brilliantly! Would definitely recommend them.

I love my new Riviera Flats in Scarab! This is my first pair of Saint Savoys and I’m so happy with them.
For folks wondering about the fit, I normally wear a size 6.5/7 or 37/37.5. I sized up to a 38 on these and they fit perfectly. I also have a slightly wider toe box, which can make buying shoes tricky sometimes as a lot of shoe styles are too narrow for me, but these are roomy for my toes and fit well. I love the cushy insole, too.
Tested these out at home, and am definitely excited to try these out on a dance floor!
