Our vintage-style shoe model **RIVIERA** is perfect for dancing and everyday wear. The insole of this elegant model, inspired by 1920s shoes, is manufactured in England and combines gentle cushioning, excellent impact absorption and a flexible feel underfoot. The heel is 3.5 centimetres high with a wide, stable base. The brushed leather sole is suitable for all sorts of floors and can be worn both indoors and outdoors. All of which makes RIVIERA a wonderfully comfortable and versatile shoe.
**RIVIERA Amore** is red in its most timeless form: a rich, classic **lipstick red with a beautiful matte finish**, without glitter or shine. Made entirely from exceptionally soft and supple kid leather, this is the sort of red shoe that instantly adds something special to an outfit while remaining wonderfully elegant and easy to combine.
This model is available in other colours with a higher heel as **RIVIERA HIGH** or in a flat version as **RIVIERA FLAT**.

How to Care for Your Dance Shoes:
The Ten Commandments for Spiffy and Comfy Shoes
Dance shoes undergo an array of very specific stresses. We see the signs of wear on our shoes as a sign of our love for dancing. However, by following a few simple tips for care, we can easily extend the life of our favourite shoes:- Care for your feet! A well-tended foot has short nails and soft skin free of callouses that may cause uncomfortable pressure.
- Should I waterproof my dance shoes?
- Always fully open your shoes before slipping into them, and use a shoehorn to help maintain their form.
- At Saint Savoy, we use high quality leather for the inside, too. If this lining should cause marks, we recommend a dash of hairspray. It really is surprising how well a thin layer sprayed into the interior of your shoe will makes this problem disappear.
- If your dance shoes are dusty or dirty after a long night out, rub them with a soft, moist cloth. Always remember to clean your shoes before applying polish.
- It'’s easy to make sure your Saint Savoy shoes keep on shining: try spit and a soft leather brush, or using an old nylon stocking to polish them. It works great, really!
- Our shoes are made of fine calf leather. It is important to use high-quality shoe polish to maintain the pliability of leather and seams. We recommend using products containing lanolin. We also advise that you use colourless care products – your clothing and your dance partner will thank you!
- Rub leather-covered heels and the shoe’s frame well with polish, too.
- Dirt can be washed off Saint Savoy’s special Sender Sole using a mild soap solution and a soft cloth.
- Put a shoetree or crumpled newspaper in your shoes after wearing them. This will smooth wrinkles from walking, as well as absorb moisture.

My best pair of dancing shoes, ever so comfortable, sparkly and elegant. You can easily dance through the whole night in these with the 3,5 cm heel. The padding will prevent any pain in your feet and the quality leather is easily stretched to the shape you need. These are my most comfortable dance heels! The quality is wonderful and the inside is soft and supportive. I’m a huge fan of the type of sueded bottom that’s used, I’ve had no problems on any dance floor no matter how sticky or slick. I’m also in love with this color combo – I have medium tan skin and they make my legs look really long and somehow also match everything I own. I’ve been wearing mine for a very dance-heavy two months and they still look new.

Die Schuhe wurden an vielen Milonga’s (Tangotanzveranstaltung) schon bewundert ! Und ich liebe den 20er Retro Style !
seit ich sie mir im Kleinzeh Bereich dehnen lies, sind sie auch sehr bequem und bieten guten Halt, dabei sind sie noch schön luftig und wirken trotz des ‘massiven’ Absatzes zierlich.
Ich trage die Schuhe zum Tango Argentino (wg. Achillesproblemen kann ich keine High Heels mehr tragen). Zum Tango tanzen trägt man die Tanzschuhe um die Fessel eher straff. Leider ist bei diesem Modell – meiner Meinung nach, der T-Strap etwas zu kurz geraten, dadurch lässt sich das Fesselriemchen nicht fest genug um die Fessel herum schliessen der Schuh sitzt nicht ganz optimal fest am Fuß.

Grüne Schuhe und ich sind wirklich eine ewige Liebe 💚 …und diese sind mal wirklich BÄM-Grün! Nichts für jemanden, der nach Understatement sucht, aber ich liebe sie als Hingucker, als Kontrast oder wenn man eine Farbe des Outfits aufgreift.

Die vielseitigste meiner RIVIERA Versionen. Natürlich genauso toll verarbeitet, wie die anderen auch, aber die Farbe ist einfach toll. Je nachdem, was man dazu trägt, wirkt es mehr golden und mal mehr silber. Und ist auch als fast “nude” wirkend zu vielen Farben als neutralen Ton mit etwas Glamour-Faktor einsetzbar 😉

Wunderschön elegante Tanzschuhe mit perfektem Fußbett und weichem Obermaterial. Mit diesen Schuhen kann man die ganze Nacht durchtanzen ohne die üblichen Beschwerden aber most of all: er passt zu jedem Outfit, schaut top aus und macht einen schlanken Fuß. Eines ist ganz klar: mir kommen keine anderen Tanzschuhe mehr ins Haus!

This is an incredible shoe. The floor feeling and height are perfect. This was my first pair of Saint Savoy shoes and I was a bit nervous about the sizing. I’m usually a size 8 but I was worried they would be too small. My measurements were a 39 but when I first ordered, I was so concerned that I ordered a 40, which was silly. Ended up exchanging it for the 39, which I should have gotten in the first place, and then they were perfect. When I first got them the did squeeze the base of me feet a little bit so I widened them with a cobbler stretching tool (allows for width stretching as well as length) and now they’re a dream. I’ll probably get another pair of these in another colour at some point.

The most stunning vintage inspired shoes! These were my first pair of Saint Savoy Shoes and I am blown away by the quality, attention to detail and comfort of these shoes. I have quite wide feet but these slip on beautifully and are the perfect finishing touch to a vintage inspired outfit. They are not just for dancing but are perfect for vintage events and evenings out. The heel height is perfect, enough of a heel that they make you stand tall but you can also wear them all night long without the pain of usual heels.
